I am delighted to say that my first book is officially published. Apples and Orchards since the Eighteenth Century: Material Innovation and Cultural Tradition is now available to buy from Bloomsbury Academic. I suppose I started to write it from the moment I became one of the founder members of the Trumpington Community Orchard Project, about fifteen years ago. I had no idea that my efforts to answer questions about our community orchard would result in an academic book like this, but I am so happy to see it in print.
